We are thrilled to announce a new initiative supporting Parents & Professionals. NeuroThrive is the name of our Neurodiverse Training Workshops for Professionals. Starting in February 2024.
Neurodiverse training is a valuable investment for professionals who work with young people. It can help you understand, support, and empower the diverse minds and talents of your students or clients.
Understanding Neurodiversity in Children and Teens
Are you a teacher, counsellor, coach, mentor, or someone who works with neurodiverse young people?
Do you want to discover the strengths and potential of neurodiverse young people, such as those with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and more?
Do you want to learn how to create a more inclusive and effective space where you can support those who struggle with neurodiverse challenges to grow and thrive?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you need neurodiverse training.
Neurodiverse training is a programme that will teach you about the distinct types of neurodivergence, how they affect learning and behaviour, and how to support and nurture them.
Why attend this workshop?
You will learn how to:
Recognise and appreciate the diversity of cognitive processing and neurodevelopmental conditions.
Identify and address the challenges and barriers that neurodiverse young people face in education and society which can impact wellbeing and mental health.
Adapt your communication styles, techniques, and feedback strategies to suit different learning preferences and needs.
Provide appropriate accommodations, adjustments, and interventions to enhance learning, emotional outcomes, and wellbeing.
Foster a positive and respectful relationship with neurodiverse young people and their families.
Support neurodiverse young people effectively to celebrate and harness the unique skills and abilities, such as creativity, innovation, problem-solving, and more.
